Where are your therapists licensed?

Our clinicians provide online therapy across New York, and select clinicians also see clients located in Connecticut. All sessions are held over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can meet from wherever feels private to you.

Do you accept insurance?

Magenta Therapy prioritizes access to affordable care and accepts many insurance plans, with both in-network and out-of-network options available. We’re glad to help you verify your specific plan benefits before you commit to anything.

What happens in the free consultation?

It’s a relaxed 15-minute conversation, no pressure and no commitment. You can share what’s been going on, ask questions, and get a feel for whether a particular therapist is right for you before booking a full session.

Can I switch therapists if it’s not the right fit?

Absolutely. Fit matters, and wanting a different match is common and welcome. Just let us know and we’ll help you transition to another Magenta therapist whose approach suits you better.
