By using magentatherapy.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State; disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New York County.

No therapist-patient relationship

Nothing on this Site creates a therapist-patient or professional relationship. That relationship begins only after you complete our intake process and execute a formal client agreement with a Magenta Therapy clinician.

Not a crisis service

This Site is not monitored in real time. If you are in crisis, call 911, call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741.

Informational content only

Site content is for general information only, not medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not disregard professional advice based on anything you read here.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Site for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or reproduce or distribute its content without our written permission.

Intellectual property

All Site content is owned by Magenta Therapy or its licensors. You may view it for personal, non-commercial use only.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAGENTA THERAPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.


Privacy Policy

This section describes how Magenta Therapy collects and uses information on this Site. It does not govern protected health information collected in the course of clinical care. See our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for that.

Information we collect. When you contact us or submit an appointment request, we collect the information you provide (name, email, phone, message). We also collect standard web log data and analytics data through Google Analytics (anonymized and aggregated).

Cookies. We use essential cookies and Google Analytics cookies. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How we use it. To respond to inquiries, coordinate care, maintain the Site, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties. SimplePractice processes scheduling and billing under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. Google Analytics provides site traffic data. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.

Disclosure. We share information only with service providers under confidentiality obligations, as required by law, or to prevent serious harm.

Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us to submit a request.
